We're ready for Christmas!
It's been insanely (good) busy in the Brown-John household and finally all's quiet, not a creature is stirring, not even a mouse... and finally I have some time to blog!
December has been great for all sorts of crafting, activities, baking and general busy-ness. I love how excited the girls have been getting for Christmas and they're just so enthusiastic about it all, it's so contagious!
Getting the HOUSE ready has been soooo much fun! Best thing for sure is having a real tree to put in the lounge to decorate and it is beautiful!! It smells to good and just makes the living room come alive. And it's huge, I love it!!
We also put lights up around the outside of the house and that's been pretty to see when we come home in the dark. Its just sparkles!
Another cool plus is having a big mantle over the fireplace... I used some extra branches from our tree to decorate the top as a garland and put a bit of a creative project together for our chalkboard poster. "The stockings are hung by the chimney with care, in the hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there"
Aside from the decorating, lets not forget all the fun activities that come with Christmas!
Writing to Santa our Christmas Wish List
Helping Mom this year with the Christmas cards!
Group visit to the North Pole with our friends
Checking out Bright Nights at Stanley Park
Salt Dough Santa Hands by the girls
So, with that... wishing everyone a super wonderful Christmas and we'll connect back once all those magnificent memories have been made! Happy Christmas to All, and to ALL a Good Night!
