You can tell that it was a perfect, most fun, super fantastic weekend on the island when it's time to leave and Nora just breaks down and cries, "I don't want to go home, I want to stay, I love Maya.aaaaaaaaaaa". Awww my poor girl, she just had the best time bonding with her big cousin Maya. Plus it was an extra special treat because we had all the Kai's on the island too, so it was a fun-filled big family getaway.

On Friday night, we had the pleasure of taking the girls, with Grammy and Grampy, to watch Maya's annual dance recital, "And the Tony Goes To..". It was awesome. We had front row seats, so we got to see Maya in three performances up close and personal. The girls did amazing throughout the show, sat in their seats, watched longingly and clapped energetically as each piece was performed. The best part, according to Nora, was the 'Circle of Life, Lion King' finale, especially since Maya was right in front of her. Oh the look on the girls faces as they saw Maya dancing, their new idol!

For Father's Day, Trav, Steve, Dad and Bill went golfing, Grant went riding, while the gals got together and prepared a delicious BBQ lunch for everyone. Just before lunch, Grammy took us for a walk... and the best part, Nora got to walk Lady! She was so excited to hold Lady's leash, telling her when to walk and when to stop. Super big grin on her face the whole way!

The best part I must say was watching the kids having a blast with each other in the backyard. The trampoline was by far the big hit of the day. Lily absolutely LOVED it... she even figured out that while everyone went to get their ice-cream, she could have the whole trampoline to herself! She never got off that thing, even declined ice cream... wow.

The ice cream stand was the cutest. Nora felt super proud to be helping Maya with the set up. Then there was a line up, so you could put your order in... cup or cone... then flavour (vanilla, chocolate, mango, panna cotta)... Delicious!
