When the Cousins Come Out to Play

Matt is visiting this week from Japan (sans Michiyo and Sara) so we had the family over for dinner. Maya came over with Grammy during the day to babysit Nora and then Rachel, James and Angelina joined us later on. It was so much fun watching the girls play together. Maya is heading off to Grade 4 and Angelina is starting Kindergarten already, crazy how quickly these girls have grown up!

It was so sweet watching Nora following the two around in whatever they were doing, copying them, jumping, playing peekaboo, just about anything, she was having a ball of a time. Soon enough she was screaming for 'Nina and Maya' the whole night! :)
At one point, Angelina was trying to get Grammy to find her while she hid... so she'd run away and try and hide under a quilt that we had in the living room. Well... Nora thought this was just too cool that Angelina was trying to hide and in Nora's mind, she thought 'Nina was playing hide with her... so Nora would run up to Nina who was hiding and lift up the blanket and say 'boo!'... and each time, Nina would quickly cover up and hide hoping that Grammy didn't see her... and so Nora thought it, again, was a game just for her, so she lifted the blanket and said 'boo!'.. so this would go on and on for a bit, making Nora laugh harder and harder each time, but also making Nina a little upset b/c she was trying to make sure Grammy wasn't finding her.... awww, it was just so sweet, cos Nora really didn't mean to ruin Nina's plans :)
