"Appy Dada"
If Nora could put together the words that she knew that resembled Happy Father's Day, she would be able to say, "Appy Dada". She's not quite forming two words together yet, so we were close enough first with 'appy', and then 'dada' when she repeated after me.It was a busy busy fun filled day for us. Seeing as our day always starts around 7:30am, we started with freshly baked cheese scones that I made for breakfast and then we headed off to the Aquarium! I kept telling Trav how much fun it was taking Nora there this past Tuesday that we decided to go there together. It was really really fun watching Nora taking it all in. Seeing as she can now walk all over the place, she was in heaven - like a kid in a candy store let loose with so many things to go and find. For a while, she had her arm in the air full time pointing to everything and she kept turning around and around looking at all the new sights. Her expressions were priceless - 'Woooooooooooow, look over here... oooh no look over here... dad check this out...omg, no check this out!' It was just so sweet watching her.
We then headed to Port Moody for the big family luncheon! It was great - Barry & Pat came over, as well as Howard, Trevor and Christie. So together, we had 5 fathers (which included 3 grandfather's) celebrating their Father's Day... of which this was Stephen's first father's day with Megan.
