10 Month Update
Already time for a 10 month update!
Some highlights in just one month since her 9 month update:
She's on the move! Yup, it didn't take her long from her first crawling steps to figure out she can get to places. She's only crawled small distances so far and sometimes with a bit of a dragging straight leg. But what she really likes is pulling up to a stand on the sofa and then cruises alongside. And if she spots her little rubber duck... she's off to the races!
- Now that she can pull up to a stand she realized she can also stand in her crib - a big uh oh, oh no. So far it's only happened a few times where she'll protest going down for a nap and just stand in her crib and cry. Lets just hope it was a short phase.
- Loves ducks! It must have been ever since she got the duck puppet from her Aunty Cherie and Uncle Stephen that she has really shown a keen interest in spotting the duck in the room. It could be her puppet or her rubber duck but she'll notice is and call for it...kinda sounds like she's saying, 'heeeeeey!
- She can wave now or at least open and close her hands - it's kind of a sign for hello, I want, food, milk, bye, just about anything.
- Has learnt to 'share' her toys. So when she plays with her little fish friends, she'll take one by one out and give them to me. Then if I give them back to her, she can put them back in the bowl. She has also learnt how to take the plastic balls and drop them down the tube stacker.
- She's such a happy baby and just loves to smile at everyone. Any strangers, she'll follow their face and try to make eye contact and when they do, she's got a big smile for them. It's so neat to see how she can make others smile in an instant! Along with the smile you can also see how big her 2 teeth have grown
