Seaside (Part 1 of Vacation)

To wrap our pretty awesome summer, we took a pretty awesome family vacation to Oregon with my parents and the Kai's.  There's always some kind of stress involved leading up to the trip and getting down to our destination, so I won't fixate on the fact that our car was having some troubles which resulted us in using Mom's cute little Matrix to drive down, or that the border line up down was 1.5 hours wait, or that this is the 3rd beach vacation we've taken where it's rained 80% of the time... because now that it's all in the past, we don't even have to think about it... plus the fun factor and enjoyment from being around family and watching kids have the best time ever totally outweighs any stress that was felt :)

So, according to our girls, life on vacation with cousins and family is the best thing EVER!  We still have our days post-vacation where the girls will break down and cry, "I want to go back to Seaside and Portland!"... yes, that fun!

Life is good

When I ask the girls what their most favourite moment of the trip was, they'd both answer, "Swimming every day, even if it was raining!"  :)

We had a truly AMAZING sunset the first night we got there, but when we down to the beach, I forgot to take my camera, I was just excited to see the beach!  But as soon as Cherie posts her pictures, you've got to see the brilliance that that sunset brought, just beautiful.

The Oregon Coast is just beautiful and we would definitely consider going back there and seeing more of it!
