Happy Halloween

Halloween may soon become my favourite celebration... it so SO much fun watching the girls get into it and for us to get fully excited with them.

First the costumes...
The original plan was for both the girls to be ladybugs, but in my last minute decision to be a cat for myself, Nora thought it would be an awesome idea to be the cat... which she fully embraced! She became the cat. As soon as the tail and the ears went on, kittycat Nora would go on her fours and crawl around the apartment, 'meowing' everywhere, licking her paws and asking where her milk was, not to mention that she loved the idea that she had a tail!! She'd run up to strangers, meowing at them, waiting for them to acknowledge her. Too too cute! I'm glad she liked the cat outfit as it was a much warmer outfit for her to wear for the trick or treating... and she kept her ladybug outfit for her little halloween party indoors.

Lily was our little ladybug... and in my opinion, she was super cute in the outfit! We've been getting her to practice saying 'trick or treat', and 'boo!'....and she would love saying it in front of us or the family, but in front of the store keepers... not so much. But she was pretty amused with the whole idea of people putting things in her treat bag.

Then the party... we hosted a little Halloween party for the girls on Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed catching up with friends while the dressed up kiddies played together and decorated some cookie treats! We even had Pirate Daddy all dressed up.... how often can you say that's ever happened! :)

Then the trick or treating... we ventured around Yaletown again this year with the Kai's and Bautista's. Nora loved running up to everyone to say trick or treat and was very helpful in helping Megan and Lily get their bags filled, making sure they did not get left out! There were a ton of kids and so fun to bump into kids and families we know from the neighbourhood.

And finally... the video.... priceless. Happy Halloween from the girls!
