Back to Reality

Happy New Year everyone!It was really fun to have Trav at home with us for the past seven weeks that I can't believe it's gone by soooo quickly! Mixed in with the Christmas holidays we were busy busy busy. But leading up to the holidays it was nice to have two of us to take care of Nora - it made it easier for me to go out and get Christmas shopping done, as well as take some time to meet up with friends and co-workers for lunch.

And Trav loved the quality time he got to spend with Nora - his best part was going in to cuddle with Nora when she got up from her naps. She's become a real snuggle bug with him that she can really calm down with him and fall asleep especially when we're not at home for naps etc. It's really cute to watch them.

We managed to make two trips out to the island in our time off. One was pre-Christmas with Naomi and then we went over for New Years where we got to spend more time with family, as well as with Trav's step-brother, Matt and his family. They live in Japan and had come over for the holidays with their baby girl, Sara (who's just turning on 11 months). Trav and Matt are 6 weeks apart in age and now their little girls are also approximately 6 weeks apart!

And now it's back to reality - Trav's back at work and the new year is here (the rain is even back in full force!). Looking forward to what '09 will bring!
