Meeting Santa

Nora has had the chance to sit on Santa's lap three times already and only once was she okay with it, the other two times were not a hit. The first time she was at QLT (mom's work)'s kids party and she was in such a great mood and didn't mind sitting on some stranger with a weird beard and all.

But then it was Next Level's Santa and that didn't go too smooth, well, until she was given a gift with crinkly paper to distract her :)

By the time she met Radical's Santa she knew too well that she did not want to go near him. As Trav or I would take her near him, she'd turn away and plant her face in our shoulder, heh heh, so there was no going to Santa and that's that. So, we haven't bothered with the mall - 3 chances are plenty :)

For our Christmas card, we created our own little photo shoot for Nora in a Santa suit. It was fun trying to find creative ways to get her to pose and it was a lot of hard work to get smiles with the right timing. But we managed to get a few plus a lot with the same face (the 'what-the-heck-are-you-guys-doing' look and the 'are-we-done-yet' look).
