Eight Months

Nora's now eight months old and learning stuff all the time! It seems every week she's doing something new and different. Trav's loving being home because he gets to see so much more of her now and he especially loves getting Nora when she wakes from her naps... they sit, cuddle and stare out the window together while listening to some Jack Johnson - so cute!

Some new things that she's done that we've managed to capture on camera:

Peekaboo... when we first started out, she would put her hands at the top of the pillow and bring the pillow down to find me but then recently she found out that she could also find me from the side... heh heh.

Velcro - Nora just loves velcro and how you can take it apart and put things back together again. There's an aquarium attached to the gymini mat with velcro and she loves to reach for the strips to take it apart. Once she's done the two straps, she always has a satisfied, proud look on her face.


Hands Up - she would pick up a toy from the floor and play with it with both her hands. Then we've been trying to say 'Hands Up' while doing the actions in front of her and a few times now, she's put the toy in both hands and then put her hands up (imitating us). I have no idea if this is all just a fluke but it's pretty cool when she does it.

We'll see what's in store for the next month... maybe crawling?
