Josh & Mon are parents!

Exciting times in the Blommestein household as Josh and Mon welcomed their little baby girl, Madelin to the world early Sunday morning. As part of the excitement and fun, Trav and I got to spend time with Josh and Mon for their last brunch as a couple... now they're three! :)

We originally had plans for brunch on Saturday at 11:30am but then Josh called to see if we could make brunch a little earlier b/c Mon's water had broken! What the?! And she was still cool with coming to breakfast with us. It was awesome, I had no idea you could do that! But, everyone's pregnancy and labour are different and Mon didn't need to check into the hospital until the contractions were a lot closer together and more intense. So we got to spend an awesome brunch at Havana's... the next time we'd see them, they'd have a baby girl with them!

So, all Saturday, we were thinking of the two, hoping the labour was going well. It was great to hear from Josh the next morning to tell us that all went well. Such wonderful times... and all very exciting knowing that in about 5 months time, Trav and I will be going through this experience for ourselves.
