What do you mean it's March already?

Woah... and where did all the time go? It's the third month of the year already... which only means one thing for me... birthday month! Yay! Some people don't really look forward to birthdays, but I think they're awesome! Maybe it's b/c you get spoilt by your family and friends or it's the attention for that day or the excuse to take a day off at work and hit the spa or just the fact that everyone in the world has one special day for themselves where they get to celebrate the day they were born! Anyway, exciting times, and not only is this another year older but it's a milestone birthday, a good bye to the twenties and hello thirties! Wha? Really? WOW.

So, I've been pondering, for those already over 30, as I join your club, how did you celebrate your 30th? Go out with a big bang b/c really your next biggie is the BIG 40 :); or did you keep it nice, simple and intimate with close friends. Thoughts?

March is full of birthdays - what a great month! My cousin Darren (in SA) is on March 11th, my sister-in-law Naomi (in Invermere) is on March 13th (30 for her too!!), my brother Stephen on March 17th, friend Lena on the 18th, friend Josh on the 26th, friend Susan on the 30th and mine & friend Karen (my friend-twin) on the 29th!
