Beautiful Betina

After a relatively easy four hour drive yesterday, we arrived in Betina. We are staying at Don's house which is located in the ˝Centar˝ of the town. After settling in, we decided to cook our own meal. We'd picked up some groceries along the way so we were all set to go. As we got to the house, we opened the windows and shutters to let some light in. Apparently this was an open invitation for the locals to poke their head in and say hi (well, we think she was trying to say hi!). The old lady only had about six teeth, so after about 5 minutes of Croatian one way and ˝I don't understand˝ the other way, we were pretty sure she was putting a curse on us!

But we got over it and after she left, we had a great meal.

This computer does't have a usb port for us to post some pics, but we found this really beautiful beach today. It came as a recommendation from Don - blue blue waters and a nice sandy bottom. You're all going to be jealous! We'll post our pics as soon as possible.

We're going to spend another 2 or 3 nights here, weather depending. We've been lucky so far. Tomorrow we're going on a boat tour of the Kornati Islands.
